Continuing the photo walk at Central Market. This is a dull shot - but the only wide one I managed to shoot. This market used to be filled with raw food stalls - meat, fish, everything else - that catered to the Latino community nearby.

After lunch we went out and wandered around Olivera Street -- but I had my Ikon out and was shooting film.

Back into the station for this shot up a platform tunnel, then a quick ride to Central Market. Tomorrow...

We decided to grab lunch at the restaurant, Traxx. And, of course, check to se what we'd shot.

The nice thing about Southern California is that the best place to wait is usually outside.

When we arrived in L.A. in the 70's, this room was packed. Now it's roped off and used for events and filming. My son saw Beck here recently.

I heard some kids shouting and running down one of the platform tunnels. My camera was slung over my head and shoulder and it took some time to get it up. Missed shot… but I moved to the other side of the stairway and...

This is the Metro station at Hollywood & Highland. Looks like something out of "Alien". Will continue the post tomorrow, as we descend into the bowels of LA and take the train.
