After lunch we went out and wandered around Olivera Street -- but I had my Ikon out and was shooting film.

Back into the station for this shot up a platform tunnel, then a quick ride to Central Market. Tomorrow...

We decided to grab lunch at the restaurant, Traxx. And, of course, check to se what we'd shot.

When we arrived in L.A. in the 70's, this room was packed. Now it's roped off and used for events and filming. My son saw Beck here recently.

Resuming the photo walk…

This is a dull shot - but it sets the location. I find all of the velvet ropes kind of funny.

…. got exactly what I wanted.

Resuming the photo walk where we left off - Hollywood & Highland Station...

This is the Metro station at Hollywood & Highland. Looks like something out of "Alien". Will continue the post tomorrow, as we descend into the bowels of LA and take the train.
